The Parish School depends on volunteers -- whether parents, alumni, or community groups -- for the success of events and programs on and off campus.

Volunteers. Our greatest asset.

Listening Friend: The Listening Friends Program is an opportunity for volunteers to connect with students in a one on one setting.  The Listening Friends volunteer for a minimum of 30 minutes per week and time is spent listening to children practice reading aloud.  Many of our students with language and learning differences struggle with reading and need extra practice in addition to what they get in the classroom and at home.  The Listening Friends are able to provide this opportunity for the children to practice reading skills, as well as develop relationships with the children they see.  A Listening Friend training will be held in the early fall for parents or Parish School friends who are interested in volunteering in this way.  Please contact Amy Richard, Elementary Coordinator if you have any questions.

Party Packs: Sign-up to make someone’s day! Volunteers will help stuff and distribute party packs for children’s birthdays.

Yearbook: Help us preserve this year’s memories by volunteering to take pictures at a Special Event or assisting with the yearbook design.

Butterfly Garden: Sign-up to help with maintaining the gardens or underwrite gardening supplies.
