Parents and caregivers hear from apraxia expert, Nancy Kaufman, as she presents strategies and play techniques to increase speech and language in children who struggle to speak. Nancy is the owner and director of the Kaufman Children's Center for Speech, Language, Sensory Motor, and Social Connections, Inc. The Kaufman Children’s Center also specializes in ABA programing for children with autism spectrum disorders. Since 1979, Nancy has dedicated herself to establishing the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol, a treatment approach to help children become effective vocal communicators. Nancy serves on the professional advisory council of the Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association of North America and has been a consultant with The Parish School and the Carruth Center since 2011.
