Camp Acorn admissions process

Formal File Review:
The Camp Acorn director reviews your completed application and required documents found in the application packet. The director determines if the applicant is accepted to camp or makes recommendations for an alternative therapeutic program if it is determined that Camp Acorn will not meet the needs of the applicant.

Completed applications are processed in the order in which they’re received.

PLEASE NOTE: No child will be screened or processed until ALL forms, including payment, are filled out and turned in. Completed applications will be processed in the order received.


Students currently enrolled at The Parish School

Select from the Language Program or Adventure Play camp options in the application packet. Camper enrollment requires the completed and signed application* with a non-refundable deposit attached. Enrollment forms will not be accepted and slots cannot be held without this deposit and a completed payment authorization form

New community campers and returning campers

Select from the Language Program or Adventure Play camp options in the application packet. A screening by the Camp Acorn team is required prior to acceptance into the summer program. If your child has never attended The Parish School or Camp Acorn before, a new camper application fee is required, as well as a deposit to hold your spot. We will review your child’s needs and determine if Camp Acorn is an appropriate program. If your child is not accepted into the program, all fees paid will be refunded (excluding the application fee).

Children currently in The Parish School's admissions process for 2017-18

The application and deposit must be submitted to hold a spot for your child in the Camp Acorn program. Please note that although the Camp Acorn team collaborates with The Parish School’s admissions team, a separate application and deposit is required for your child in the 2017-18 school year. The summer screening will take place in conjunction with the admissions process and the new camper application fee will be waived.
