5 tips to help your child (and yourself) become more resilient following Hurricane Harvey
Dealing with the aftermath of a hurricane or other traumatic event can leave a lasting impression on a child. Thankfully, children are naturally resilient and can recover with the right supports, empathy and empowerment. We share 5 tips to help turn a traumatic event into a lesson on compassion.

Supporting children who have special needs during a natural disaster
Navigating Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath can be challenging for adults, let alone our youngest citizens. Children who have communication disorders can have an even harder time processing their experience and expressing their feelings.
