Oftentimes, this causes parents some level of confusion when speaking with teachers, reading reports or conducting research. Check out this list of terms frequently used in schools. Some are relatively new, while others have been used in the field for decades.

Makerspace Is Hub for Creative Learning and Exploration
With a greater shift toward 21st century skills and inquiry/project-based learning campus-wide, the Schissler Library at The Parish School expanded last year to include a makerspace. Learn more about projects our students are working on in the makerspace.

Inquiry/Project-Based Learning Formally Adopted at The Parish School
For the 2018-19 school year, The Parish School will “formally” adopt Inquiry/Project-Based Learning across grade levels and curricula, even though, really, we’ve been doing it all along.
