The Parish School's social worker and behavior therapist assists a young child

The Parish School employs master’s level mental health professionals to partner with students, parents and school staff to address the social, emotional and behavioral needs that interfere with academic learning and developmental growth.

Our mental health professionals:

  • Provides in-classroom support and intervention to students
  • Consults with school staff and community providers
  • Facilitates development and implementation of The Parish School’s Social Emotional Language & Learning Program
  • Provides short-term counseling to all Parish School families

Counseling services are confidential and free of charge. Student & Family Services helps bridge school, home and community. By promoting collaboration among all involved, we develop innovative solutions to support whole child success.
